You Are What You Eat

If it is true that “you are what you eat” (hint: it is at least somewhat true), why would you ever want to eat anything but the best? For many people, the best food that they can eat is organic, nutrient-dense, gluten-free, dairy-free whole food.

You may read the above paragraph and think that food made without wheat (gluten) or dairy would be bland and boring. You couldn’t be more wrong! Food is life, but food is also joy, and there is no reason why anyone should have to eat food that is not enjoyable.

Gluten-Free Goodness

Most people know that gluten is found in wheat, but not everyone is aware of just how many other foods contain gluten. Traditional soy sauce, for example, usually includes a small amount of fermented wheat in addition to the fermented soybeans. This means that most Asian food products are off limits to people who are avoiding gluten. It also means any prepared food that uses soy sauce for colour or flavour – and there are quite a lot of them! – also has to be avoided.

People who follow keto or Paleo diets may also benefit from gluten-free organic wholefood products in Central Coast. While all gluten-free foods may not fit perfectly into your keto macros, there’s a pretty good chance that they will be lower in carbs and higher in fibre than processed foods made with processed white flour.

Cooks who care have been able to develop gluten-free foods that include chocolate muffin mix, vanilla muffin mix, banana bread mix, Paleo fluffy pancake mix, and fruit and nut bread mix. Since they are dairy-free as well as gluten-free, most of them are vegan-friendly too. These are truly foods that everyone can enjoy!

Other little luxuries that are available in today’s market include chocolate hazelnut spread, sprouted luscious lemon spread, almond gingernut spread, almond cinnamon spread, sprouted ABC spread, sprouted almond spread, sprouted cashew spread, and sprouted hemp seed spread. The almond butters are made with organic Australian almonds!

Packed with Protein

It’s not enough to avoid things that are “bad” for you; healthy eating demands that you actively eat things that are “good” for you. There are some wonderful products that are high in protein while still remaining organic and free of gluten and dairy. Collagen bars come in tempting flavours such as lemon and blueberry, vanilla and honey, and strawberry and elderflower.

You can also enjoy grain-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free protein cookies that include chocolate chip, double chocolate, lemon shortbread, and peanut crunch. Sprouted nut snacks are available in double chocolate, chocolate chip, luscious lemon, and berrylicious flavours.
